Internal Sales Account Manager

Background

DLX Networks are specialist network services provider, and IT solution provider to SMB and mid-market clients.  We hold prestigious accreditations from major IT vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, and VMWare.  Having achieved great success over the past 18 months, we are searching for an outstanding candidate to provide a sales and marketing function within the business, to assist DLX in acquiring new customers, and to increase our presence and profile within the marketplace.  The ideal candidate will have an education background in business studies and/or marketing, an interest in developing a career in IT solution sales, and above all, be determined to succeed.

Purpose of the role

The purposes of the role are as follows:

1.    Sales – increase revenues and profitability as an office-based account manager
2.    Marketing – increase the number of qualified leads through lead generation activities

Responsibilities of the job

Sales responsibilities will include:

1.    Assist in raising company revenue and profits, through selling DLX Networks solutions and services to SMB and mid-market customers.
2.    Plan and execute telemarketing campaigns in order to grow the sales pipeline
3.    Manage new incoming sales enquiries
4.    Write solutions proposals with the assistance of our pre-sales consultants
5.    Develop and nurture relationships with customers and partners
6.    Work closely with vendor account managers to work on externally generated leads
7.    Maintain accurate pipeline information in our CRM database, and provide regular and accurate forecast information
8.    Participate in regular team meetings, to discuss ways of improving performance and service

Marketing responsibilities will include:

1.    Developing and executing marketing strategies using social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
2.    Assist in the development of marketing collateral (solution data sheets, customer case studies)
3.    Produce a bi-weekly company newsletter
4.    Maintain the company website content, and seek ways of increasing traffic to the site

Training

We will provide the applicant with vendor and industry relevant training to enable them to do their job effectively.  This will be delivered with online training from manufacturers such as Cisco, as well as specific in-house one-to-one training sessions from our networking specialists.

Progression

We believe in developing the potential in people.  The ideal candidate will be supported to develop into a Field Account Manager role, or Marketing Manager.  Sales success will be rewarded with increased earnings potential.
