DLX Networks Partners With Arista Networks

DLX Networks announced today it has entered into a resale with agreement Arista Networks in the UK.

“DLX Networks will use Arista Networks switches to build ultra low latency trading networks for our customers.  The price performance figures for the Arista 7100 series switches are unrivalled and will give our customers the competitive edge.” said Gisli Helgason, Director of DLX Networks.

Arista switches can achieve latencies as low as 600 nanoseconds regardless of packet size and can be deployed in Layer 2 or Layer 3 designs without increasing latency or reducing throughput.  The ability to do Layer 3 switching at such low latencies provides design flexibility and scalability that can be hard to achieve using Layer 2 designs. 

Arista switches are typically deployed in low latency trading networks; cloud computing and other networks requiring low latency and high bandwidth.
