Check Point UTM-1 appliances come in a range of models to meet business requirements ranging from the entry level UTM-1 136 capable of 400Mpbs firewall throughput recommended for up to 75 users through to the UTM-1 3076 capable of 4.5Gbps firewall throughput recommenced for up to 1500 users. 

All UTM-1 appliances include Firewall and VPN security gateway software blades and security management blades to provide and all inclusive security solution. Appliances are also available as a total security package that includes IPS, URL filtering Antivirus and Anti-Malware, Anti-Spam and Email security. Additional blades can be added as required.

Software Blades

Check Point software blades are a series of security modules (blades) that allow Check Point security appliances to be tailored specifically for particular functions. Software blades can be enabled to extend the functionality of security gateways after deployment to future requirements of your organisation.

• Firewall – NAT / Protocol & Application support / VoIP protection / Instant Messaging control / P2P blocking.
